New Mexico Trout is an all-volunteer, nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization that is dedicated to the preservation and enhancement of trout fishing in New Mexico’s waters. The Club does this through hands-on restoration of riparian habitats and by educating the public about trout fishing and the value of trout habitats. NM Trout raises operating funds for its conservation projects from the annual Conclave, as well as from member dues and donations.
New Mexico Trout partners with State, Federal, and private agencies to accomplish its mission and to introduce people to the benefits of fly fishing in order to recruit more participants to the sport. NM Trout provides volunteer labor and donates money to purchase supplies to complete worthy projects.
