Members regularly participate in a variety of educational activities that include
Monthly meetings
Annual educational conclaves
Fishing clinics and fly-tying workshops
Conservation & habitat protection and enhancement projects
All of these sessions provide opportunities for members to get together. New flyfishers meet more experienced fishers. People find others with similar interests. We welcome you to join us!
There are a variety of levels of membership (see below for details): regular, family, junior, lifetime, individual sponsor, business, and corporate sponsor.
You can join or renew your membership in two ways: send in payment with a membership form or online through PayPal (you do not need to have a PayPal account; we accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express).

Types of membership
All members have a vote at membership meetings and receive the bi-monthly newsletter via mail. All membership with the exception of the Lifetime membership is in effect starting on the calender year, January 1st. Dues are not pro-rated when an application is submitted after the start of the year.
Regular ($30)
Family ($35) – Add your family members to the New Mexico Trout family for a small fee! This fee covers all immediate family members, whether a spouse or all the children.
Junior ($15) – exclusively for those 16 years of age or younger.
Lifetime ($500) – one-time fee. Our newest 2011 Lifetime member is Daniel Talso.
Individual Sponsor ($60) – Same as a regular membership, but an opportunity to provide added support to New Mexico Trout. All individual sponsors are recognized in a New Mexico Trout newsletter annually.
Business ($150 or $250+) – A New Mexico Trout business member either pays $150 a year for membership, or donates $250 or more to the annual Conclave. Each business member receives a certificate of ‘Business Membership’ and is eligible to place one 1/8-page, camera-ready ad in New Mexico Trout’s newsletter.
Corporate Sponsor ($250) – Same as a regular membership, but an opportunity to provide added support to New Mexico Trout. All individual sponsors are recognized in a New Mexico Trout newsletter annually.
